How We Can Help ...

In an pickle? In need?  See what we are doing, our services and how we can help.

Services offered

While providing a safe haven for LaSalle youth we also strive to motivate and support the growth and development of the youth though our programs.  Take a moment to see what we have done and what is happening now.

'A place to go.  A place to grow.'

All services are free for use by the youth and the community.  This is done through our group of passionate and dedicated volunteer board members,  our community sponsors, fund raising, limited grants and our front line volunteers.

Answer a question;      Is there a place for me?

As a youth in need or a someone that can help.

COUNSELLING

The Hangout offers access to counselling services for our youth upon request. Our office doubles as a counselling room in which we have trained professionals available to offer support, guidance, and the proper resources needed whatever the case may be. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need support or know a youth age 12-18 who may benefit from these services. We care and are here to help!

Here at the Hangout, sitting down at the dinner table and enjoying a wholesome meal together is one of our favourite activities (besides laser tag of course)! By providing healthy meals and snacks, we give the youth the fuel they need to get their homework done and stay nourished! We welcome any newcomers to join us, our family is always growing.

Home Work Help

The staff and volunteers at the Hangout are there to offer help and guidance for any school work and projects.   There are quiet work times and dedicated study times and days for exams.

We plan events and games for the participating youth to be involved with.  It will depending on the attendance and involvement of the youth for these event to happen.  We work towards making the Hangout an involved and engaged community.

Our summer program is packed full of events to attract the participation needed to have a great summer.
